Help for learners and families

Learning is free. A school can enroll you without replacing your profile, certificates, or badges.

1. Independent learners leave the district box empty. You are on FRO Open.
2. School learners use the district code the school gave you.
3. Lost a password? Open Lost password and ask your school or district admin for the code.

First flight

On the home page, choose Start your first flight. Pick a subject, open one crystal, try the star-check. The sky shows subjects as planets and lessons as moons. Pulsing moons are emergent topics you or a tutor opened.

Tutors

Professor, Archimedes, NEXUS, Einstein, and Stigma answer from the crystal you are in. Ask them to expand when you want more depth. If a reply feels stuck on the wrong subject, name the new topic in the first sentence.

Completion

• Visited — opened the crystal.
• Practiced — passed a star-check.
• Certified — a certificate appears on your profile. You can hide one from the showcase.

Games (Star Quest, Cards, Arcade, Memory) use the same crystals. A correct check can count as practice.

Return orbits

After you pass a star-check, that crystal is scheduled to come back: 1 day, 3 days, 7 days, then every 21 days. On Profile, Return orbits lists what is due. Press I reviewed this after you recall the idea without notes. A review is not a new grade and does not issue another certificate. School reports can show how many reviews are due.

Weekly goal

On Profile, write a short goal and press I worked on my goal when you do. It is a check-in, not a grade. Family view includes the goal and the latest check-ins.

Family view

On Profile, set how many days the link should last (1–90) and press Create family link. Send that URL to a parent or guardian. They see your display name, school, goal, check-ins, certificates, and how many reviews are due. They cannot sign in, submit work, or change your password. Press Revoke to turn a link off early. Expired links stop working on their own.

School credit

Your profile names your school and district when you are enrolled. Certificates can show school credit. FRO Open stays independent until you share an import code.

Join a school and keep this profile

On Profile, generate a school import code and give it to the district. They import the same account. Badges, certificates, orbits, and progress stay.

Pods, art, assignments

FRO Open learners can make a family or study pod. Art Studio blends a real-world image with a fractal field from your prompt. If an instructor assigns work, submit it from the classroom path; an agent can review it and the instructor records the grade.
